Nomination information has been sent out to the 10 member organizations for 2016 nominations to the Wisconsin Forestry Hall of Fame. Nominations are due April 1, 2016. As reported in the September 30, 2015 news post, the 2015 Forestry Hall of Fame inductees were Alvin Barden and Rachel Jordan. Those inductions were done on September 19, 2015 at the Wisconsin Woodland Owners Association annual meeting at Marshfield.
The Wisconsin Forestry Hall of Fame display at UW-Stevens Point has been updated and the new photos are very attractive. Thanks go to Paul Doruska, Tom Hittle and other executive committee members who took the lead in replacing old photos with newer pictures.
