What: We are all learning about the potential risks associated with forest management in a changing climate. What can we as foresters do about it? The Southwest Wisconsin SAF Chapter is sponsoring this half-day meeting to explore the question.
Who: Foresters, landowners, loggers, wildlife biologists, ecologists and resource managers
Why: Build experience with new forest management tools, understand what can be done to improve the “resistance” or “resilience” of a forest, decide when “transition” is a better option.
