Joseph Rademacher has been selected for the Michael W. King Memorial Field Forester Award by the Wisconsin Society of American Foresters (SAF) for his work and contributions to the forestry community.
Joseph is being recognized for his outstanding contributions to forestry work in the field, particularly his work with assisting private landowners. Joseph is known for his “passion for practicing excellent forestry, doing right by landowners, and supplying his company’s mills with sustainable, high quality logs,” said Matt Carothers. Joseph has worked for over four decades in forestry in Wisconsin and has been a member of the Society of American Foresters for approximately 22 years. In that time, Joseph has worked to help private landowners understand the timber industry and how to best sustainably manage their forests.
The Wisconsin Society of American Foresters is pleased to recognize Joseph Rademacher for his outstanding field forestry work with all stakeholders, particularly private landowners, with the Michael W. King Memorial Field Forester Award. The award will be presented at the Wisconsin SAF Annual meeting banquet (provided public health measures allow for the occurrence) at the Avalon Hotel and Conference Center in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, on October 14, 2020.
