“White Pine: Seedling to Old Growth” features quality speakers covering a variety of topics providing up-to-date information on all aspects of white pine. Topics talks on the history and cultural influences of white pine for the Menominee Nation, changes in the white pine resource, health issues, silviculture, market trends and case studies. The second day includes a tour of the Menominee forest, known world-wide for their management of old-growth white pine.
